This workshop will be on Zoom. For those who live locally, we thought it would be great to have the option to meet together and spread out on paper-covered tables, watching the class together. As soon as a room is obtained, we will announce that.

MEMBERS-ONLY WORKSHOP

$10 - this low cost is a gift to our members

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:  Sending and receiving a creative hand made, professional and original greeting card is a treasure. In this workshop we will explore several different compositions, layouts and designs for your greeting card collection. We will create our own envelopes for our cards. Using a few different techniques, we will be using our gelli plate for creating the basis and fodder for the cards and envelopes. We will review a variety of different card styles and layouts while keeping the process simple and classic.

Please note: a Gelli Plate, 8x10 or larger, will be needed for this workshop.

Recording will be available for two months.

ABOUT VERONICA: I began my Calligraphy journey in the late 80's.  I was fortunate to study with Reggie Ezell year long class program and then three semesters with Tim Botts.  My true love has always been Roman Letters.  Studying with Peter Thornton has given me the discipline and creative permission to explore this art form for many years.

In addition to Calligraphy, I do enjoy bookbinding and all sorts of mixed media play.  I am now retired and able to enjoy the time and freedom it offers. I live in the Arizona desert and am a member of The Calligraphic Society for Calligraphy here in the Phoenix area.

Enrollment is for current paid Society for Calligraphy members only. Your membership must be current at time of sign-up as well as when class is held. No reservation will be held until your dues are current. If your membership lapses, you become ineligible. No refunds. For confirmation and prompt receipt of supply list, we recommend that your payment arrive no later than two weeks before the workshop. You do not have a spot in the workshop until you are notified by the coordinator.

Contact Adela at ieworkshopsteam@gmail.com to pay by check, payable to IE SfC.

The Zoom invitation will be sent a couple days before the event.
