I think the words MAJESTIC FORMAL ROMANS scares us calligraphers we think we are not ready for them until we learn and practice many other calligraphic hands. and BUT I believe studying these Roman forms (in a casual way) helps us with all calligraphic hands! The prerequisite for this class is a lot of patience and being able and willing to work slowly and play with our tools. No judgements, just loving these Big Guys and playing. Experience with the broad edge pen will be helpful.

Workshop fee $40
SfC Members to register: email Barbara Steel bambigram1941@gmail.com and then mail your check for $40 (payable to OCSfC) to Barbara Steel, 17202 Sandra Lee Lane, Huntington Beach, CA 92649. Your confirmation will be emailed to you along with class exemplars and Zoom information.
Non SfC Members to register: Follow instructions above but include a separate check for $42, (payable to SfC), this will give you a years subscription to all of the publications of the SfC and enable you to take all of the Zoom and In person workshops for just the workshop fee.
